Blaze of Glory 0.0.2 Update
It's been a wild last couple of months, that's for sure.
I finally had some time to dedicate to the project. Here's what's new:
- Corrected text for Camera Scrambler perk
- Corrected Bot perks for hacker skillset
- Added rules for dumb luck and props
- Renamed combat section to action scenes
- Simplified cover and concealment to a yes or no status requiring a single roll for both.
- Added details to Networks
- Added Ghosts.
- Removed Cowboy Bebop reference
- Added a bit more flavor text regarding realspace transactions
- Renamed Bots to Daemons
But, more noticeably, I started fiddling with PDF formatting (after lots of negative feedback about the .txt release)! Honestly, it's not much of a readability upgrade, but I hope y'all dig.
I sincerely believe the game is playable, but in its current state it'll still leave too much to the GM. Please give it a try and let me know what you think!
What's next?
- I need to write more detailed guidelines for the disrupt action, as well as effects in and out of combat.
- I'm considering having less perks at the start of the game.
- The Loadout - I'm working on rules for players to determine what they're bringing to a gig.
- PDF needs to be made from scratch instead of an imported word processing document.
