About Keyboard controls

CookTale
A downloadable game for Windows

Due to its nature Cooktale had to be designed with Joystick as the main control scheme. That doesn't mean keyboard controls are non-existed; they were still implemented, mainly for development purpose. I tried and fitting all four players together onto the keyboard as nicely as I could, and leave it there as some sort of accessibility feature.
Here is the default control scheme :

Qwerty/Azerty compatibility should be assured natively.
If needed, you can still change these controls in Unity's launcher when firing the game.
Inputs there were given nice and readable names. Controls for each player is prefixed with P1, P2, P3, P4, accordingly.
- Horizontal/Vertical : Character movements. Vertical only applies to Ghosts, leaving these keys free to be used again for some of the Cook's actions.
- Enable/Disable Player : Used in the Player-Selection menu. [Enable] and [Disable] are two different buttons on controllers, but were made the same on keyboard.
- Jump : On keyboard, it overlaps with Vertical (Up) by default.
- Step-Down : Doesn't exist on controllers, (achieved by combining [Jump]+[Down]). Was created its own input for keyboard, and by default overlaps with [Down], in order to avoid the combination [Up]+[Down] which felt both unintuitive and uncomfortable.
