This week
In this week, we focused on polishing the core mechanic with updates to the movement system to introduce two-way streets into the game, along with the integration of many new assets provided by the art and music development teams.
The art team has completed more assets for the enemy headquarters (spawn locations for the AI bots):
As well as new models and textures for construction sites and streetcars:
In the meanwhile, the artists had also begun working on rigging and animating the protagonist model.
The music team completed the title screen theme, as well as the main level theme and the ambiance. Extra SFX are almost nearing completion for the car collision and explosions.
Since the last meeting, extra revisionary work and consideration has been taken to update the core mechanic and polish it. Rebranding of the game is in the works to rethink of an effective title for the project. Extra work has been accomplished such as:
