Hello from the BirdWorks team!
Today marks the official public release of our new "game":
This new BirdWorks entry is more of a proof of concept then a fully fleshed title. Inspired by games like Death Road to Canada and Caveblazers, we wanted to see what went into character customization features for 2D sprites.
Turns out, a decent amount! Thanks to this, we managed to learn quite a bit about modular sprite design & Unity Editor features.
Moving forward, there were talks of perhaps using these character creations in a future game, but for now we decided to work on different projects.
Still, we hope that you enjoy playing around with our character customizer. Create your own pirate, see them in action, and we'll see you in our next itch.io entry!
