#4 Buttons, Doors & Levels

what lies beyond the EVENT HORIZON?
A browser game made in HTML5

Since our last devlog we implemented one of the most important objects related to the puzzles: Buttons!

You have to stand on them or put some boxes above them to push them and activate our new doors.

Opening and going through the doors will be the objective of each level. Maybe these buttons can activate other things in the future... Anyway, here it is how it looks like:

Then, we implemented a tilemap and tilesets to start the development of levels

In fact, we already have some to show you, we encourage you to play them in our last published build, you will see that we have a simple menu, so you can play whichever level you want. With everything we have told you in our devlogs, you should be able to complete them.

Here they are!


Right now, there is no win condition implemented, so consider yourself successful if you can bring the protagonist to the opened door.

BUILD INPUTS: -  WASD & Arrow Keys : Player movement

- Spacebar : Interaction (near a black hole controlling device turns on/off a black hole)

- R (key) : Restart level

- P (key) : Pause game

DEBUG INPUTS:

- H (key) : Show/hide the black hole's attractive diameter
