I'm happy to announce that the results of my experiments were positive! I have now begun incorporating these results into the newest version of the play test rule set. The changes are significant enough though that I'm considering leaving the current rule set as is, for people to enjoy, and approach the new ruleset as its own game. Will wait and see!
