Changes:
- Added a massive assortment of new interactions with Salem, as well as interactions with the surroundings woods and the tree at the start of the game. Commands such as "call out into woods", "submit", and "talk to Salem" are newly valid interactions, as are many others. Veni also has many new ways to attack, including "claw" and "pierce".
- A significant number of hints have been lain throughout the game to assist with progression should the game notice the player is stuck. Hint text is displayed in bold.
- Many verbs in the vocabulary have been tweaked to be more consistent, with additional synonyms added and a large assortment of analogous verbs depending on context.
- New methods of escaping Salem have been added, which include dealing damage to them, grabbing a specific part of their body while in their maw, and negotiating.
- Salem now waits to attempt to grapple the player when they miss in combat. You must now miss twice in a row for them to attempt to, making combat more consistent.
- Salem's stats and armor class have been nerfed.
- The dagger weapon that belongs to Veni has been tweaked to deal piercing damage and optionally deal slashing when input with the corresponding verb.
- Some spells now have unique effects depending on the context. Try casting "fireball" when you really shouldn't be using that kind of blast radius spell.
- Parser now assumes target based on context if no target is provided. (i.e. will assume Salem when no other NPCs are in the area).
- Parser will now accept syntax such as "attack with dagger", which previously would not work.
- "Help" has been added as a meta command.
- The command history and game log text are now selectable, allowing you to copy from them if desired. The command field will also now stay selected when a command is entered.
Bugfixes:
- Using "look" while inside of Salem will no longer think you're somehow outside of them and will give the correct description.
- Salem will no longer endlessly repeat their death sequence when interacting with them after they die. As an aside, they can also be grabbed now in that state.
- Salem no longer sometimes triggers a failsafe message when escaping their grapple.
