Hi everyone,
First, please check out this link to get an extra ship, that will help you better understand how to add parts to your spaceship.
Next, I would like to explain how to change colors for the various parts of the ship. First thing you wanna do is open the part and the "color-palette.png" in the graphics program of your choice. Then, replace the original colors, pixel by pixel, with other colors from the palette. Or any colors, really, it's entirely up to you. As long as you keep their hue close. Like this:
By the way, I added these to the asset pack, but you'll have to play around and make more colored parts if you want...
Another thing I'd like to do here is to explain how to make new shapes, so you can add extra parts yourself. Watch the picture below carefully...
Of course, that's just a simplified explanation, but I think it's enough to get you started. Go ahead, experiment and see what you can come up with yourself, so you don't have to pay for art.
