#devlog
The original YouTube video regarding Nonogame's initial development has been published for over a year now. In one of my first videos, I talked about starting small, creating something, and finishing it, rather than starting from the beginning over and over again and never releasing anything. And while I have released several of my games to the public, the ironic thing was that I have never released Nonogame, although it was in a playable state and already quite fun (if you like that sort of game). So I finally got back to the project and released it in its current form (version 0.07). Well not quite, as I wanted a WebGL build, and Regex apparently behaves differently on WebGL than inside the Unity editor or on Windows.
The game is in no way polished, and if I were to start the project now, I would do many things differently. Nevertheless, I think it is still a fun and short little experience, and I hope this project: 1) is fun (a little bit), and 2) teaches me (and maybe some of you?) to publish my works! Ultimately life often gets in the way, but I want to create more games, publish them, bring a little bit more joy to the world and express myself creatively! In case you are interested in knowing more about any future projects, the best way to stay informed is to join the Centi Games Community Discord server!
