Devlog #05 | Week 39

Comfort Zone
A downloadable game for Windows

Heiya, Jenny here! And it's time for our weekly devlog.

So first things first: We finished the pitching process, hoorayyy! The victor was our second pitch, with the pending name of Comfort Zone.
Although it kind of won by default, because of the struggles we had with both the first and third pitch.
Lack of motivation and time constraints caused  us to ditch the concept of our third pitch. Which was building up to be a Two-Player Coop, Puzzle Platformer. Maybe it had potential, but in the end we all felt that we weren't able to make another pitch on equal quality as last week's pitch. So it was ultimately scrapped in favor of refining Comfort Zone.

We spent some time refining the gameplay aspects of Comfort Zone... or well the other two did. I was prohibited from working on our presentation. So I, instead opted for working on a rough 3D-Model of one of the characters, buuut I ended up rage-quitting so I have nothing to show for it.

This week might have been a little lackluster progress-wise. But one of our developers had to leave early to fly back home, and the rest of us start our well deserved (at least i believe so) autumn break, today (September 29th for those wondering).

There will be no devlog next week, but we'll be right back with our weekly devlogs before long.
Ember signing off.
