HammerA downloadable game for Windows
CHANGES:
- Added a second tutorial for combat accessible from the Mission menu ("COMBAT COURSE")
- The old tutorial has been renamed to "MOVEMENT COURSE"
- Weapon system tweaks:
- Weapons with recoil now substantially affect your stability when fired
- Weapons can now have exponential spread based on your current stability
- Charge weapon energy drain doesn't immediately get removed when you stop firing
- It will decay to zero at the same speed as the remaining charge
- Infopods can interacted with to immediately send their message
- This interrupts the currently sending message, if any
KNOWN ISSUES:
- Jumping, Kicking and Bursting may drain twice as much energy when moving in ordinal directions relative to the unit's facing
- Caused by animation events in blend trees being called twice
Custom model importation still needs a couple more UX passes and then I need to write up instructions on how to use it. I want it to be convenient to use as well as feature-complete before it gets out there.
As usual, clear your preferences in OPTIONS > DEBUG before doing anything else. If it refuses to launch, you can delete them manually from the registry address included in the reference text file.
