Well I said it was alpha for a reason and here we are: the first major bug. Really it was a typo, but I can't believe this code ever worked, or maybe a symbol rename just didn't update everything correctly and I never noticed.
In any case, there was a crash where playing sounds could crash with an out-of-bounds memory access. This has been fixed, just make sure to grab the latest dbsdk which fixes this bug in db_sounddriver.c
