Update - v1.1
Posted September 14, 2022 by Aesica
- Adjusted some stats a bit. Most notably, Shaeli, Ko’reth, and especially Kraena have increased attack and magic attack power while Jalia has increased speed. Kraena’s attack spells should feel a bit less useless now.
- Increased the modifier on everyone’s basic attack from 2.5 to 3
- Corrected a tooltip that neglected to mention the Light element on Shaeli’s basic attack (in the Limit Break menu)
- Fixed a bug where Faerin’s basic attack was bypassing magic resistance–it now deals Blunt/Heat/Cold/Electrical damage
- Replaced Kraena’s starting Lore (Revenge) with Nemesis, an electrical-type spell with a modifier that scales up with fewer targets
- Increased the amount of MP Kraena gains from taking spell damage by +100%
- The Insight skill’s detail text now renders instantly when viewing an enemy’s stats
- Buffed Revenge to be a decent Lore, but you’ll have to earn it from an enemy if you don’t already have it in an old save
- Adjusted the costs of certain Lore abilities
- Added Lore abilities to a few more enemies. Keep an eye out for them!
- Added note to Kraena’s tutorial battle about how Lore skills are based on the enemy’s Limit gauge
- Changed the Lore skill icons from the blue placeholder orbs to represent their actual element to bring them in line with other ability aesthetics
- Buffed the following spells in Faerin’s arsenal to make them less underwhelming compared to Flare: Thunderbolt, Lightning Storm, Blizzard
- Reduced the damage of Ko’reth’s Black Ice ability somewhat, as its meant to be a damage/debuff hybrid ability, not raw damage like Faerin’s skills
- Fixed Ko’reth’s Siphon Life and the Sunlight Lore so that they no longer heal/revive dead targets
- Fixed Ko’reth’s Limit Break, Dark Seal, so that it now properly strips away enemy buffs before applying corresponding debuffs
- Fixed minor typos in the intro and made it less hastily-written overall
- Adjusted the value of certain consumables to make them more reasonable.
- Fixed a bug where trying to go back to the main menu would automatically start the current battle wave without prompt
- Fixed a bug that could cause a possible progress reset in certain cases between saved game play sessions
- Changed some enemy group arrangements in the Forest area (area 2)
- Fixed a bug where Ouros the Devourer’s Sweep ability was inflicting a guaranteed Stun on the party
- Lowered Ouros the Devourer’s stats and attack strength overall. He should be a bit more reasonable.
- Renamed the horse enemy and slashed its defense/magic resistance by half
- Removed a few irrelevant options from the options menu
- The metal slime is a bit less skittish and thus, more likely to use its Lore ability
- Bosses now have slightly larger gauges
