Demo Update - 9.6.2022
A lot of little things have changed with this recent update.
- Certain enemies can now be staggered from attacks. Launching them with backflip is still (largely) possible.
- Enemy health and Jet's attack power have been rebalanced
- Power ups spawn rate has been rebalanced
- The highway level's cars move slightly more slowly and the attack plane's attacks have been changed. It no longer bombards the player with shots on the street
- The demo covers the game's first FIVE stages and a boss fight.
- Cutscenes have been added.
- A 'Game Over' shop is available where players can buy temporary boosts on the Continue screen in exchange for coins collected. (The coins also received a visual redesign.)
- A save system has been added that records the player's progress at the beginning and middle of each level (boss fights only save in the beginning).
- Ground Quake power up has been replaced by a "Charge Booster" that instantly increases Jet's level (attack power)
- Axe kick move is available by pressing Up + Attack in the air (may be changed later)
- Various small visual updates and bug fixes
A forthcoming update will feature the ability to dash just by pressing the button; holding left/right will no longer be required.
There is actually very little content needed for the game, and I will be spending the next few months focusing as much as I can on polish and QoL tweaks. I have plans to release the game by the end of the year. Stay tuned, and thank you for reading!
