Unreal is a Buggy Mess
I managed to get the UI working, but man Unreal can be unreliable sometimes. It's not a bad program, but there was an issue to where I couldn't save anything, even with source control disabled. Also, my counter was acting up, and now for some reason, it just works. Words cannot describe my confusion. Not to mention, the servers for Perforce were acting up for some reason. But luckily, I managed to compile and commit the UI before the due date for our next build, which is good. I am looking forward to working on the enemy with my teammates next month. In the meantime, enjoy this video of me testing the battery counter in Unreal.
