Chapter 15 - Wallflower's Bloom
Man, this took a while; but as I said, it should've been split into two. We went the other way. Chapter 15's total: 33 Animations, 1029 Renders.
Regarding the new chapter, you just gotta see it for yourself but honestly, I'm unsure if I'm entirely done with it, might poke at it here and there while developing other chapters; just small details that I believe need adjustments. Oh, and I hate working with skirts. Skirt physics are all clunky and uncooperative.
As usual, I had a blast making this; but it's even more challenging and bigger than the rest. What sets this chapter apart from the previous ones is mostly keeping the background of the scenes alive. Keep everything moving, and interacting with each other or at least provide a better frame rather than empty wastelands when it's supposed to be bustling. Sometimes it doesn't get noticed but there are still so many reasons why that is wrong, and it really bugs me since I enjoy polishing the details. I would be like, "Oh shit, I gotta do it this way," then I have to start adjusting. It consumes more time, so efficiency-wise there are holes in it, of course, but it's stimulating to do and it does make it better overall. We're already working on the new chapter, but hooooo boy, a lot more character designing is involved.
