Update 0.174 Penelope
This one took a little while to do, but its finally out. This update features a complete overhaul of recoil and accuracy (again), a complete overhaul of armour and damage reduction, major improvements on ai and much more.
Generally everything looks and feels a little bit better.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed an issue that was preventing armor from reducing damage
- Fixed an issue that prevented player settings from taking effect when respawning
- Fixed a bug where the playing unzooming would stop their weapon from firing
Tweaks:
- Improved AI targeting, repositioning and battlefield intelligence
- Added 'Mercenaries" characters who can be selected from any team
- Armor is now calculated by a percentage-based damage reduction rather than value-based
- Rebalanced all weapons
- Improved effectiveness of weaknesses and resistances
- Pickups can be stored for later rather than be used immediately
- Effects of all pickups have been rebalanced
- "Black Ice - Grenadier" now has a grenade launcher alternate fire mode
- Improved recoil and accuracy
- Improved first person animations
- Added zoom and rotate to class selection menu
