Hi and welcome to the first Devlog for Prototype (still have no name for the game).
As for now I'm working on the levels to prepare for the second upload of the play-test, I've reworked a lot of features visually and technically, and I've added a short story that I won't spoil, it helped me focus on building a somewhat acceptable design for the game UI and levels (as you can see in the sketches I made).
Ps: I just finished some of the gun mechanics :P
There are a lot of things to work on, this update will have a bunch technical and visual modification opposed of the 0.0.1, adding more Ambient music and sounds to give the game more depth and life.
You were assigned to escort the cargo to plant "X" and insure the safety of the cargo, however you got sucked to a wormhole with the spaceship and it's cargo, leading to the death of the entire ship's crew members leaving as the lone survival.
The Portals were the ship's cargo, and they were supposed to be delivered to other planets for easy teleportation, unfortunately the spaceship ran to a wormhole and got sucked to another time line (we're not sure where), the portals are scatter all over the planet and you, the player must find a way back home. by finding a portal that is still connected to you home planet .
