Hello Humans, it is time to clock in! Today we are dropping the next patch for Under Contract, version 0.2.0! Lots of goodies on offer, including overhauled minion fights, new lewd content, more gameplay spaces, more narrative, tools, tricks, and tutorials! Our plans for a monthly release of Under Contract fell short due to a lot of events happening all at once, a new house move, a lack of internet in the new house, a funeral, and lastly topped off with myself getting COVID. Nothing seemed to go right. I apologize for the missed deadline, we are 100% back on track now!
We heard you loud and clear, Under Contract was gameplay and narrative heavy in the first build, so we added 5 new lewd scenes into the game, each Minion fight will now have a “happy ending” for Richard, and more character-driven scenarios we are calling “Reality Events” will be placed throughout the experience. We hope the Reality Events will give more grounding to the characters you are rescuing in the game along with amping up the bosses of our game.
The Tracy Ring of gameplay has been added to the game along with a brand new mechanic around bugs and dodging fireballs. It is a little hard to explain but think of it as a mixture of Space Invaders and the Match 3 gameplay system we currently have.
One of the biggest issues we had both in the demo and the first release of UC was the UI/UX font and controller support of our game. We have built an automatic detection system in the game that will identify when you swap between controller and keyboard what buttons should be pressed.
