First Update
One week after submitting "Fully Dilated" in the Mini Jam 112 - Chrono, I am publishing version 1.2. In this version, the basic mechanics are the same, but several suggestions from the Mini Jam community have been implemented as well as some general additions and bug fixes. It is still only three levels, but I will add levels once I am satisfied with the gameplay. The updates made include:
- Velocity indicator under the player ship
- Orbital rings that indicate both what obstacles are effecting the player ship and how strong the gravity is
- Fixed speed boost from gravity as well as adding an effect to show that it is active
- Improved obstacle avoidance in the enemy AI
- Enemies now drop boosts to refill player health, fuel, and ammo
- Fixed missile firing from Orbital Enemy ships
- Added an Options menu to control graphics and audio
Planned Updates:
- Radar to display enemy and obstacle positions
- More levels
- More settings to adjust in the options menu
- More game modes like time trials or distance trials
