Weekly Update #2
Here's a weekly update.
NEW:
- Lighting. Simple but looks nice.
- Level up descriptions.
- New Abilities. There are a ton of new abilities and more on the way.
- Character Select. Currently you can only play as the d6 character. I'll add more in the future.
- Death animation.
- Money.
BUG FIXES
- Player is immune for a few seconds after getting hit. This stops the player from getting bounced around and losing all health in one turn. This makes the game much more forgiving and reasonable.
- Enemies would sometimes move farther than desired when getting knocked back. This should no longer happen.
- The music volume has been reduced. I'll eventually add a settings page.
- Bullet collisions should be a bit better.
- More gradual enemy spawn rate.
- Less enemies spawn at the end. It was too much.
- Player shoots each individual bullet and no longer shoots all bullets at once. Plus the animation was corrected to look like the player was shooting the right amount of bullets.
- Some other general bug fixes and changes.
