#bugfix
A critical bug was found in the original release version of ICOGen: ICO files only support PNGs in RGBA8 format and if a source-image was used that wasn’t already in RGBA8 format, it wouldn’t be properly re-encoded when embedded into the ICO file. ICOGen embeds images as PNGs, as older image formats such as BMP are largely defunct for use in ICO files and recommended against going forward.
The new 1.0.1 update fixes this bug and the format of the source-image will no longer cause an issue, as ICOGen will now properly re-encode when necessary.
