0.5 - The Halloween Update
The Halloween Update out now!
Update 0.5
Features:
Adds a subtle shadow to enemies and the player
Adds a vignette
- Enemy Variety
- Some enemies have a 25% chance to spawn with a random skin
- Enemies have a 25% chance to spawn with 5% increased or decreased damage
- Enemies have a 15% chance to spawn with 10% increased or decreased speed
- Orb Decay
- Void orbs now disappear after 30 seconds
- There are new upgrades that make this timer shorter
- Normal orbs now disappear after 60 seconds
- There are new upgrades that counter this
- Blue orbs take 50% longer than normal orbs to decay
- Blood orbs don't decay
Small Features:
- Halloween Event
- If your computers date is on October,
- Enemies have a 20% chance to be spooky
- Ghosts randomly pop up
- Some other spooky stuff
- If your computers date is on Halloween,
- Enemies have a 50% chance to be spooky
- Ghosts randomly pop up faster
- Start all runs with a Pumpkin Head Cosmetic
- Some more other spooky stuff
- Some effects still last for the first 3 days of November.
- Better Damage Indication
- the screen now goes dark while taking damage (counts as lighting)
- the player now flashes white while taking damage
- Last Seed used is now displayed
- Every Run starts with 3-5 orbs randomly spawned around the level
- This gives seeds an actual (small) purpose
- Class Changes
- Angel
- Is now immune to void orbs
- Increased the chance of gaining a revive on difficulty progression
- Junkie
- Now gains 7.5% (scaling) speed on difficulty progression
- Richard
- Summoner
- Has exclusive upgrades
- Increased the chance of gaining a pet after killing a boss
- Vampire
- Bosses deal 10% more damage
- Small Indicator on the Player that shows where you will attack
- XP Bar under the Health Bar
- Orbs rotate while moving
- Void Orb Limit of 100
- Orbs now ignore pick-up range when 500+ orbs exist
- After Upgrading, these (scaling) effects now take place:
- More Upgrades focused on making pets better
- More Small UI Changes
Fixes and Changes:
- Void Enemies now don't show a body when they die
- Slightly Adjusted Attack Hitbox
- The Defibrillator Cosmetic now disappears when the player has no revives.
- Changed Bullet Sprites
- All Deadly Auras are 5% bigger
- Renamed Broken Baseball Bat to Chipped Baseball Bat and updated its sprite
- Snake Oil Rework
- +75% Speed Boost while not taking damage
- (was speed boost while not attacking)
- Lit TNT
- Now kills all Bosses instead of draining 66% HP.
