Hello there! I just released my first ever interactive fiction story, Cybered Out! Originally started in Fall 2019, this was based on an NPC's point of view of events that took place in a Cyberpunk 2020 TTRPG campaign I was running. I had to halt construction of it because of college coming back into session and then covid kinda putting everything out of the norm. Anyway, I decided to finish it because I was close when I left it and I'm trying to build out a Narrative Design portfolio to get into the games industry.
At one point, I lost the entire project, but I managed to recover about 14 of the now 21 passages thanks to having played it again on my PC. I had to rewrite the other seven passages, which I did pretty well for not exactly remembering what had been in there. That was worrying at first, but I'm glad I found a way to save some work by googling around. I consider it done now, but I'm sure I'll be making more interactive fiction stories in the future, so look forward to those!
