Well, the game jam is officially over! In it's place, we bring to you the first (if last) community update to Dicing Chef Buddy.
It's been lovely doing game swaps with you all and otherwise getting feedback for the game during the review period. Possibly the thing we heard most is that the game nailed the creepy aesthetic, and as much as we appreciate your appreciation of the scary/cute aesthetic, we didn't mean to put in a few of the most terrifying things: bugs and oversights. This is the update to remedy that situation; you all told us what to fix and so here it is.
Changes:
- Fixed jumping over the food truck barricade to leave the map
- Improved enemy/customer hitboxes to more accurately fit their model
- Improved the Knife pickupable to better indicate itself as pickupable and not take up too much screen space
Should we revisit the game for any more content updates or quality-of-life changes, we hope you enjoy the working Dicing Chef Buddy in the meantime. Thanks again for the great jam everyone!
