Hello dear followers and lets jump right into some awesome news: The road to early access has now officially begun and I started to work on 'Coastguard Radar Hunt'. The name, for now, will be used as placeholder until we or I can come up with a more fitting name. Maybe it just stays that way, who knows just yet.
The attached pictures you're seeing are the pixelart I am actually working on and implementing into the game itself.
On the Discord you will find the roadmap for the game as well as other projects and you can give a much quicker and direct feedback, thro in ideas and much more. Joining our discord is not only free but will save a cute fox from being smuggled!
I have set first and foremost the stuff I really want to have in the game without falling into the featurecreep hole. Everything else that we or I come up with will be added to a wishlist. The ultimate goal is to bring this game up into early access state to release it on steam eventually.
Giving you three examples:
The new main screen prototype which exists for a 'day' and a 'night' mode. This is the day mode. The blank space is in which you will find various other informations, supervisor, crews, vehicles and other stuff.
The new buttons I have designed will be implemented on the start screen and are a much nicer view than the ugly standard buttons from Godot. Promise!
I created all the necessary vehicles that can come up on your radar. Don't worry, the white color is just the base-color that will be edited within the game and represent the status of the vessel.
One of the supervisors that will have some impact on your gameplay. Well. Big impact in some cases as I am building a roguelike. Can't wait for your shift, eh?
For now I'll invite you all to join and see this game growing from an early prototype to a full fun game with it's inspiration from Battleship!
Have the day you deserve, stay crunchy and...
don't eat the devs.
