Let's Make Trouble!

It's here at last! After years of development, playtesting and going back & forth with the rules and playbooks, Troublemakers is finally generally available in a finalised form! Started many years ago as a result of a discussion on G+, Troublemakers is an attempt to capture the best of children's adventure fiction in a tabletop RPG. Open to all kind of settings, from slice-of-life in a small town to dimension hopping fantasy quests, this game is an engine for creating your own epic stories about the adventures of ordinary children thrown into extraordinary situations!

Troublemakers is Powered by the Apocalypse, meaning play is like a "What if...?" conversation between the Player Characters and the Master of Ceremonies; each participant tells their own part of the story, weaving it together with rolls of the dice to add to the drama. The game text includes:

• Details about the four character stats and the seven Basic Moves they are tied to, everything from picking a fight to making a wish.
• Rules for getting in and out of trouble, learning from experience and testing the bonds of family & friendship.
• 12 Playbooks, from the adorable Crush to the responsible Sitter, including the ever-faithful Dog companion who tags along on the kids' adventures.
• In-depth guidance for the MC on representing adults, animals and monsters in the fiction, plus advice on building stories from scratch and making the world the kids live in feel vibrant, surprising and fascinating.

As well as the full version of the rules & playbooks, the demo set continues to be available for free: this consists of cut down versions of the rules and playbooks, packaged with two playsets so you can get the gaming up & running in no time!
