Fixes & Improvements

• Fixed compatibility with some VST2.x hosts which would never set the sample rate.
• Fixed the cleanup of log files when the plugin loads. Log files older than 14 days should now automatically be removed from disk.
• Fixed a rare case of some Windows-specific calls never working silently.
• Improved performance slightly by creating and using a dummy Direct3D context to keep the GPU in a ready state.
• Improved delay calculation to almost be a perfect sample match between input and output in VST hosts which support latency compensation.
• Improved the chances of the effect loading successfully by opting for fully dynamic library loading. This should remove the need of manually adjusting PATH on affected systems.

Known Issues

• Sample rates other than 48kHz currently cause strange resampling and filtering issues.
• Buffer sizes below 10ms may cause unusual issues.
• Some real-time VST hosts may cause unusual stuttering or crackling in the filtered audio. Solution is to use a better real-time VST host, or hope that the VST host developer fixes the issue by adopting asynchronous behavior.
• Some VST hosts may still fail to load the effect due to unknown reasons.
