I've successfully made an Android build after tinkering with my PC for a while. Don't even know what made it work this time after a few attempts last time.
Renpy discourages side images for the phone builds but it feels like some lines of thought by MC is easily misread as the other character's line if the side images are not present. (The side image is the small portrait of MC at the bottom left of the screen in the Sprite+Background parts of the VN. It's off by default in the phone variant but I enabled it.)
I've only tested this out twice. So let me know if there are any hiccups. Have fun!
