v0.8.0 RELEASED - Battleground Levels WIP
At long last, we’re back to level/encounter design and playtesting. Combat actually runs pretty smoothly now. I’ve played through all 4 encounters a few times without crashes or hangups. Dying, yes, but no crashing! Your mileage may vary.
Hopefully I can finish the rest of 0.8.x in August; it’s basically just coding:
- Finalize in-game editing + save/load
- Finish porting from engine V1 (mostly VFX)
- Finalize GUI system
Then I want to get v0.9.0 BETA out by October with all essential main quest content, finish artwork and sidequests by year’s end, and officially release sometime in 2023.
