Release: Extended demo

The extended demo is here!

The update contains three new chapters, a new GUI, and a fated meeting with a certain charming individual. 🤭 But also: the basics of how magic works in this world, a spell-crafting minigame, and a little bit about the Society’s history. 

Basically, this part gets most of the exposition out of the way so that the story can take off properly. It will also be the final release before Part One launches at the beginning of 2023. (I can’t wait. 🥲 I want to show it to the world already but it needs a little more work.)

Notes:

• About 30 minutes of new material, bringing it to 50 minutes total
• Content warning for strong language (please keep in mind the full release will be at least 16+)
• (if you played the previous version) I made a save in the first quick save slot so you can continue from where the first demo left off (pc only)
• Added a dialogue choice in the first chapter (won’t affect the gameplay but adds a little nuance to Q’s character)
• Updated the GUI to better fit the game’s vibe
