Some New Features
Hey! A lot of new features and changes were done since last devlog. Here's some of the most interesting changes:
Improved Combat System
- Added new animations of fists and axe/hammer combat;
- Added a damage multiplier to the head;
- Weapons are now placed on the belt when equipped;
- Completely reworked clothing system. Clothes are now look better on the player, and new physics has been added (belt);
Weather System
- Six weather presets, which change the density of fog, clouds and wind speed;
- Global Wind. The wind now has a dynamic speed and direction. The wind also affects: the speed of the waves and their direction, vegetation, the movement of clouds, the direction of rain;
- Rain and thunder have been added to the game and, importantly, the sound of rain is lowered when entering the room;
- The sun now rises in the East and sets in the West, and the intensity of the sun's rays varies depending on the weather.
Voice Acting & Lip Sync
- Added voice acting and facial animations for Alice, Yotra & Shaartan;
- Improved emotion system;
- The NPC starts talking to the player only when it turns to face him;
- Improved Alice & Yotra Lip Sync in act;
- Fixed: Now the NPC turns its eyes on the player only when the player is within their sight radius (similar how head turns);
- Fixed: NPC turned his head even if the player was behind him;
