Bard - College of Metal v1.1.0
v1.0.2 Update
- Feature Levels:
- Power Chords were moved to level 6 to make way for a new feature that allows for this subclass to be a little more aggressive.
- Runes of Calling have been moved to level 14 as it is very broken at level 6
- New Feature:
- At level 3 you now get a feature called metal skin that gives you a boost to your AC the more you use your bardic inspiration. This is to reward the bard player for using the class features, and to get them into melee combat after using a bunch of spells.
- The Axe:
- Is now described as a focus that needs to be used to use the features of this class.
- Power Chords:
- This feature now requires you to use the axe as a focus.
- Eta: Removed the disadvantage as that was broken.
- Lin: Wording Changed to specify spells that target only a single target. Effect is now only a 5 foot radius, but potentially blinds the targets for a number of turns based on the bardic inspiration rolled.
- Mur: Is now a game of musical chairs as you can swap creatures that are effected by the spell.
- General wording for all the chards have been updated to specify the exact targets or requirements for the chord.
- Runes of Calling:
- This feature now requires you to use the axe as a focus.
- Removed the bonus rounds added by the bardic inspiration, since that's just broken.
- Removed the ability to use it on a spell that has already been cast.
- Slayer King:
- Attack: No longer knocks prone on crit, instead it calls down an unavoidable lightning bolt
- Dash: Allows you to attempt to push people down as you move
- Dodge: Allows a counter attack
- Lore
- General lore updates to the description of the subclass.
- Fixing grammar and spelling.
