Greetings again to all of my fan, I'm the Lead Designer/Writer/Cameraman/Patissier of Small Favors. Several months ago, I wrote in a development log that Small Favors would release in Q2 2022. Those who are familiar with fiscal quarters, or who Googled it to be sure like myself, may notice that today is 6/30/22, the last day of Q2 2022. Those who are familiar with video games will note that they're not development logs, and are wondering if I could stop beating around the bush and explain why I'm releasing one instead of the other. So let's just assault that bush head on: Small Favors 1.0 will not be releasing today.
When will Small Favors 1.0 be releasing? Approximately…soon-ish.
So the natural follow-up question would be, why the delay? There are a number of contributing factors, a sample of which are provided below:

Rest assured, Small Favors 1.0 will be released, and will remain 100% free when it does. I would love to give it a guaranteed release date, and to the unlikely few who have been following it since launch, I apologize. But given the amount of work remaining, my previous output, and my schedule in the near future, I cannot. So here's what you're going to get instead:
On the last day of July, 7/31/22, I will either release the game or another development log detailing my recent progress. I will continue releasing logs on the last day of every month until Small Favors 1.0 is released. Hopefully there will only be a few of these, unless I'm describing my horrific accident that halted development. And no, Elden Ring does not qualify as an accident.
One way or another, I'll see you again on 7/31/22.
