🧪Past Work and Future Plans!

Developing started in September 2021.  The attached images show some of the earliest drafts of the game. I wanted something that I could occasionally work on to take a break from Summer Sweepers. Several ideas were pitched and the winning game eventually became what you see here today. A playable demo was completed shortly after Summer Sweepers v10 and was privately released on my SubscribeStar in January. Secrets of the Bastion was the runner-up of the poll, but got to make a public debut first as my submission to Strawberry Jam 6. Now that both games have finally been revealed, I plan to take turns developing each for the rest of 2022 and perhaps a bit of next year too. Expect to see regular updates released every 2 months.

Some of my plans for Monster Monsoon include:

• A phone system to stay in touch with distant companions and see some uploaded photos of what they're up to.
• Character-specific quests to add bonus objectives to the battle maps.
• At least 1 more companion, 1 more client and 2 more towns will be added.
• Plenty of new items, roads, enemies and lewd encounters.
• The sprout queen and her palace will appear on the world map as a final, ultimate challenge.
