Hey everyone! Saint Ceri's first demo is now available to play!
If you've played THJ you'll already be familiar with the setting; Saint Ceri will be very different in many ways (shorter story, smaller scope, more CGs and a much bigger focus on the romance and 18+ content) and the tone is a little lighter, but it still deals with some mature themes and issues.
If you've already played the demo, I'd love if you could check out the survey! I'm really curious to know what sort of kinks my players would like to see (at the moment I'm going for fairly soft femdom, but there's some things I might want to add if the majority of players are interested) and what kind of NSFW CGs they enjoy.
Right now my plans for this game are to:
Keep the script to 40-60k words
I'm terrible at estimating wordcounts so I might go over, but I do want to make this game shorter than THJ. I'll be busier IRL than I was during THJ's development so progress is likely to be slower.
Let the players pursue any/all characters during the game and negotiate the terms of their relationships at the end
You'll be able to have a monogamous relationship with just one LI, marry them or have a romantic relationship without marriage, pursue two or all LIs and possibly marry one of them. Not all marriage/lover combinations will be possible as some LIs do have their own preferences. Each ending will have one CG or more.
Make a second demo
I'll take your feedback and make a second, extended demo with additional scenes, possibly some fixes to the art and story if needed. I'm also considering hiring some VAs to add partial voice acting (depending on whether players would like that).
Release the final game on itch.io and steam
Saint Ceri will be a commercial release (price will be announced closer to the final release). The free demo will remain available to play.
I'll keep you guys updated during development! I'll probably do monthly devlogs about my progress. I hope you enjoyed the demo, let me know if you encountered any bugs (you can report them here or write a comment) or have any thoughts/suggestions!
