So, 13 people have seen my last devlog. So that's WAY more people than I thought would be interested in a game such as this!
I've squashed some pesky bugs, did some game balancing... added new tunes (we're up to 7 'gameplay' tunes, I think I might stop at this point!) Updated the game to read settings from a settings.ini file included with the game: I still want to add a real 'settings' menu but now sfx volume, music volume, fullscreen/windowed, and scanlines can be all controlled via a simple ini file change. Getting there!
Also, some QOL changes: made your player shield flash/flicker when it's about to wear off, and the laser turrets change color/fill up before they fire their laser... definitely helps your QOL as a player.
New title screen, new tunes, new action! The game is getting close. Thanks to the 13! Check out the video for the latest build.
