Tragedy Strikes Again

It seems the rain isn't over. 

My cousin Phil has been a huge part of my life since I was a kid. An Elite Trainer by trade, this man was able to cosplay Kratos from God of War perfectly. He made a career in personal training, and was the entire reason I moved to Washington state. And I've spent a significant portion of this year with him, helping him out after a really nasty failed relationship in which he lost everything. Everything was going great. He'd just secured a position with my company as a site lead, and spent the first day there getting nothing but glowing praise from the nurses and patients there. This was it. This was what all the suffering had been for. This was where his life was gonna turn back around. He'd made it.

Phil took his own life this morning. 

This one hits hard. He was only in his 40s. He was there for me when my dad and grandma passed on the same day last year. We were supporting each other when our uncle passed away from cancer this January. I thought I was keeping him stable, motivated. Making sure to check in with him the way he checked in with me. Making sure he could vent and get the shit he was feeling out. A lot of the money from this game actually went to him to help out when he wasn't in a good position financially. Y'all helped me keep his head above water. But apparently the barrel of a shotgun looked better than the future ahead of him.

What does this mean for World's Crossing Academy?

The biggest things missing from the next build is the H-scenes. Almost everything else is ready to go. I can't bring myself to work on H-scenes right now for obvious reasons. So I'm going to put placeholder images in place of those scenes, and release this next build with no H-scenes with the intent to fill in the sexual content with the next build. I'll be spending the next couple of days polishing up what's there and get the release out to Patrons ASAP. I'll post a release schedule and the build will be available to the public in about a month. 

And then I am going to take a little while away. 

It won't be nearly as long as last time. You won't be waiting 8 months for the rest of this in-game week. But I need to actually process all the shit that's happened, because putting it on the back burner is causing it to bubble up and is affecting my ability to create. And the game is suffering for it with long times between updates.

So I'm hoping to have all the polishing done by this week or next week. I will be publishing an Android build as well, which has been highly requested. 

Thank you for your patience. I'm trying. I just keep getting hit, hard. And it's getting harder to get back up each time.
