DreamVeil v0.6 (Testing Cards)
The game has been silent for a little while due to complications and as a result, there haven't been any new public beta trials... until now!
We've got a lot of new cards and mechanics to try out, as well as a handful of visual and quality of life improvements
Balance -
one of the biggest changes is that cards now have a deck limit based on their bounty cost. You can have 4 copies of a card that costs 5 or less, only 2 copies of a card that costs from 6 to 9 :) and only 1 copy of cards costing 10 or more.
This means we can be more creative and make cards feel really strong since players can't have a deck of only that card. This also means that playing a card is using up the copy(s) in your deck, so you have to choose the right moment to drop that big monster.
There have been a couple of stat adjustments due to the new limits, one major adjustment is that Slime King's effect now only deals 1 damage to Slime Guards, effectively doubling their potential blocking capability!
New mechanic: Sleep, makes it so monsters can't attack until they're next damaged. This is only used on Dream Kitten right now, but there's a lot to do with it!
