Devlog #5: I have a new struggle... + Quick discussion on the 'Acts'.

Pitch Black
A downloadable game

The last two days have mostly been updating the graphics even further, but I'm now continuing to work on the game itself and I've run into a huge problem... i need to show you this I'm so proud of my little baby you should also take a look at the title screen i love it so much i could probably just post a short little video showing the shiny brand spankin new movement system, would that be ok to show?... No, I can't, I need to focus on the game's progress. Before I can show you the game's redesign and all the details I fixed and added, I need to at least finish Act 1 to release the demo.

Oh, speaking of the acts, I should mention that I won't be releasing all the acts separately with different price tags, besides Act 1 which will be available for free in the demo. The reason for this is that I want to be sure that all the acts are 100% done before releasing the full game, I don't want you all to start playing the game and then need to stop an hour in and then wait for my lazy ass to finish the rest of the game, I want it all to be available straight out the gate.

Finally, about the game's price: I still don't know, but it will heavily depend on how long the game takes to complete in a 'casual run' but with a few extra steps by taking into consideration the amount of time gameplay loops take. Basically, I'm not gonna add to the price if it takes an hour for a playtester to complete multiple puzzles that you need to walk between that are almost identical. At the moment, I'm thinking of a $10 price tag at full release, but that'll likely fluctuate as I work on the game.

Anyway, I will see you all, at some point in time, in pitch black.
