Heyo! Look at this quick little update Hop 4: Hazardous Occupation which has HAZARDS! Yes! The staple of most platformers!
This update is quite small as it only adds in hazards which I've placed a few in the test level for the time being! Hazards can be static like spikes and get you like that! They can fly across the level like projectiles! They can even fly up or fall down like fireballs and boxes of DOOM! Pretty cool right?
WRONG!
It's super cool.
This update took a bit more work than I expected; but don't they all. It turned out pretty nice though!
The next update I'm adding an attack along with collectables and some more polish! Slowly but surely the game is coming together pretty nicely.
For anyone that may be playing these early builds and feel that the player controller feels a bit stiff and the jump doesn't feel super good yet. For Update 6 I'm creating the first real HUB area. With that I'm going to focus on player movement A LOT! Likely going to redo how most of it works; I originally just wanted a controller that could somewhat function to get things going.
But, I want to assure anyone now and those possibly looking back; that I am not ignoring flaws in the game and do plan on fixing them.
