This is the first of regular weekly updates. The plan is to be transparent and share the state of the project, showcased in very subjective percentages.
Art - 30% complete
2/5 scenes are completed. There's still work to do on character facial expressions and overall polish.
Story - 40% complete
1st draft of the chapter is done but I won't be picking this up until later most of the art is done.
Programming - 35% done
The dialogue system is set up in Unity and the dialogues are displaying correctly. There+s still work to do on the UI but it's decent for now. The next big project to work on is creating a system for changing images in Unity triggered by the dialogue.
Plans for this week are working on a new scene for Chapter 1. Since it's set in a new location, this will be a big task to tackle. I expect this would take a whole week and a big chunk of the next one. Lucy's Game is moving nicely and it's very exciting.
