Welcome to our final devlog everyone! This week was all about fixing small bugs and further polishing our game. We also finally took the time to make set up our itch page properly.
Having difficulty convincing your stubborn friends to play our game? Are they simply not prepared to pick up their jaw in awe as they feel the intense thrill of airship combat? We know how hard it is to replace such lame friends on such a short notice so we bring you an alternative. With our brand new trailer you'll easily convince all those friends to hop in and get absolutely demolished by your airship and cannonball launching prowess!
The winning player now gets awarded a crown on the end screen. Show those peasants who's king! Additionally, the player with the current most points gets a crown in-game as well! Be careful however, the moment another player gets more points, they will get the crown!
We changed the way join scene looks, to make it look less like the actual game scene. So no more confusion!
The storm now features rain and lightning strikes!
When you spawn in the scene or respawn after you die, there will be a puff of smoke colored in your color to make it more clear where you respawned!
Every ship now has a unique particle.
We remade our mountains! New, more detailed models, new texture, bigger chunks to use for the boundaries to add more variation, and dedicated collision meshes, so more optimized as well!
Ammo pickups will no longer give you the same weapon as you already had!
You now get awarded points every time you hit an enemy player relative to your damage! Violence is usually the answer except if the question is how do I score points!
All the trees and other greenery now fully interact with the wind: moving in the same direction and getting rustled more when a storm is here!
- When taking damage the correct controller rumbles.
- Fixed the issue where in some rounds, the particles don't spawn.
- A minimum of 2 players is now required to start the game.
Though we are exited and proud to release the final version of our game, we are also a bit sad that this adventure has come to an end.
Thank you for reading our devlogs and we hope you enjoy our game!
