First official update: v1.1
Hello!
Black Hole Survivor's first official update is out now! Version 1.1 releases all the improvements we've been working on in the test versions of the last couple of test updates.
Here's a summary of the changes; if you wish to read up on more, most of the items have been discussed in more details in the past dev-logs.
- Transition between stages made more visible, along with the ability to earn bonus points if a stage is completed without taken damage.
- More focus on high scores. Including:
- Notifications in game when you reach a new high score,
- A top-10 of scores,
- Some extra info for each score: stage-number, the player's name and date of the reached score.
- The option to Play Again presented right after a game over, to quickly get back into the game.
- The steel wizard no longer endlessly keeps jumping,
- The fire clouds of gas meteor explosions dissipate more quickly,
- Player weapon no longer responds while in the menus,
- Pause menu has a Resume-button instead of back-button,
- Prompt the user if they're sure, when aborting a game, or resetting settings/scores.
