One change from the previous version: Attention's range was incorrectly listed as "1", it's "10" now.
Aside from that, I've been working on editing Alice in Virtual Land. Here's an excerpt from that.
It’s the first snowfall of the year. Every since I got this aquarium connector I’ve been spending less and less time in the real world, but I thought about talking with Celine.
“Pardon the mess. Here, have some tea and relax. Now, what’s on your mind, chairwoman? As far as I can tell, you haven’t brought anybody from Games or Biochem...” Celine gestures while looking around Arc VR Development’s reception room. We know that nobody else is around, and I wonder if this is a habit of hers or she’s trying to communicate something.
“Today, I’ve got a secret to tell you. Can you swear to God that you won’t tell anybody else?”
In response, she moves a hand as if zipping her lips. I figure she’s joking, but I have no plans for anybody but her to know about today, so I'd rather not take any risks.
“Sorry to say, but I’m an atheist… but if it’s important to you, I promise I won’t tell anyone.” Celine answers with a smile. I don’t know anybody else who smiles like she does, and I feel comfortable knowing I made the right decision to put my trust in her.
