Well, here we are

Aether Fly (Jam Version)
A browser game made in HTML5

The bullet hell jam has been wrapped up for a few weeks now, and only just now have I had any time to comment about it. Firstly, I can't thank everyone enough for all of the really thoughtful comments and feedback I received during this jam. Ultimately Aether Fly got 23rd overall, 2nd in audio, and 4th in visuals! I'm honestly blown away by how well it did, as I remember working on it I was really concerned it wouldn't be fleshed out enough to even submit. With how well it was received by my fellow jammers, the time has come for me to make a critical decision. Will this be the game I work on now as a commercial release...? ...Maybe.

Up until this point I've been involved in another game jam, a game jam covering mental health and creating gameplay that can be "therapeutic" for players. And as chance would have it, about 5 years ago I had an idea that covered this exact kind of topic, and it's the idea that actually pushed me into game development in the first place. So... I'm a bit torn between these two projects at the moment. I have really big ideas for BOTH of these games, but I need to decide which one is going to get my attention right now. That's kind of where I'm at right now. I'll be updating and making my other game publicly available really soon, so please check it out and give me some feedback on that as well. You may be able to help me make my decision. Either way, I'm super grateful for everyone who actually read all this, haha! If that's you...consider me a friend :) I hope I can make a game you'll really enjoy.
