0.0.11 Release Notes

Today's 0.0.11 release marks something really special: a whole new case, two new characters and a new h-scene!

I have updated Private Dick pretty much every week since it's launch back in March. A lot has changed since then - and I'll be blogging about that - but the story hasn't really changed. Dialog has been tweaked, lines added and removed, a couple of new scraps of conversation dropped in.

But this really is the first major content update for the game. I hope you enjoy!

I have accelerated June Van Beek's, eh, journey to enable the h-scene to fit. In the full game the gratification will be delayed a little and won't be quite so jarring.

And a final little caveat on the new content: there's at least one piece of background art missing. I've decided to release rather than wait as it's quite a low-priority background really.

Because it's tedious to start from scratch, there's also a new Case Select screen from the main menu, so you can jump straight into the new content (called The Return of Heracles) if you wish.
