Reading up on the production process of games is always eye opening for lack of a better term. When looking at how well a majority of games run and perform; the work that goes into them are very much underappreciated. From having a vague idea of a game, to making all the code and game models for the game to run and play smoothly, to having modifications after release to make sure the game continues to play smoothly. On top of appreciating the work that goes into making games it also makes people be aware of how much work they themselves can expect to put into a functioning game whether it be small or large. What helps in the planning and making process of games is communication between all the different teams working on the game. Besides the producer of the game keeping everyone on the same page, third party communication apps also help. The second article discussed how different apps have different pros and cons depending on your budget, team size, and project size.
