Deadland 4000
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
  • Unseen enemies now have an updated, original sprite
  • Mousing over unseen enemies will label them as “unseen enemy”
  • Altered the spawn rates for wild vaults, rarer vaults are rarer
  • Altered the spawn rates for basic suburb enemies, rarer strong enemies (turrets, blobs, banshees) are rarer. Odds that one of these spawn instead of a weak enemy should be 1/21
  • Gatling gun and flamethrower have had their bullet costs reduced from 3 to 2. Their magazines have been reduced from 15 to 10.
  • Fixed a bug where mothman’s ability would freeze the game.
  • Fixed a bug where player health was loaded before player status effects. The health would then be incorrectly updated, allowing you to heal back to full health by saving and reloading if you had a max health buff.
  • Fixed a bug where status effects were not being loaded in correctly, resulting in some status effects applying default values instead of the real loaded ones. For example saving and loading with the gummy vitamin health buff would give you +15 max health instead of +5.
  • Fixed a bug where the player set name would not appear when first starting a new game, only when loading an existing save.
  • Fixed a bug where if they player started a new game and exited before making a single move their starting items would not be saved
  • Default lighting toggle has been set back to on
