After almost 2 months the 0.3.0a has finally come. To be honest, I am not completely satisfied. It's been a very distracting few weeks. There are still many details to be done. I will be updating in a small patch these details and bugs.
Featured:
- Customization System: The prototype of the customization system has been added.
- New weapons: Now you can select between four different weapon types, separated into two types: The Main Weapon and the Secondary Weapon.
You can access from the main menu button "Customize" and choose your desired weapon:
Each weapon has unique abilities and different fire cadence.
There are still missing some customization things like the color and maybe, a modular system for the parts of the ship.
- Save Data Update: A different structure for data storage has been created. This part will have many more changes in the future and the data will be reset often (sorry for that).
Bugfix:
- At the Boss final fight, and it's destroyed, now the player can Restart the Level or Abort the mission freely, no longer crashes for that part
Notes:
- More changes to the Player Gameplay! one of these is the combat system, more specifically to the Controllers. I have planned to delete some actions like the Elemental Skill for each weapon type. Currently the game uses a lot of keys and it's kind of difficult to control the Player.
- The 3D ship model will be updated to a nicer view. And that will help me to solve many visual bugs, and add more weapons types faster.
